Discover the family-owned difference

Serving our community for over three decades.

The Carpet & Tile Gallery has been helping Ballarat choose flooring since 1995.From its early days as The Carpet Gallery in Bradshaw Street, the business has grown into the region’s largest flooring showroom, supporting residential, commercial and renovation projects across Ballarat and surrounding areas.

Behind the size of the showroom is something much more important: people.

The Carpet & Tile Gallery has always been shaped by local families. The families who built the business, the families now continuing it, the families within our team, and the families, homeowners and business owners we help every day.

That continuity matters to us. We are proud to be a local business that employs local people, supports local trades, works with trusted suppliers and helps customers make decisions with confidence. Whether it is a family home, rental property, commercial space, renovation or new build, our role is to make the process easier and provide advice people can trust. We are big enough to offer range, choice and capability, but local enough to know that service still matters.

As The Carpet & Tile Gallery continues into its next chapter, our focus remains simple: support the team, respect the history, look after our customers, and keep helping Ballarat create spaces that feel finished, comfortable and ready for life.
